Gold Label Special Mix Soil 1L

Gold Label Special Mix soil by the liter for those wishing to purchase smaller quantities of soil.

High quality soil from Holland.
The soil allready has a pH of 5.8 and EC value of 1.5. There is no need to add nutrients the first 4-6 weeks, depending on the pot size.
The soil is premixed with vermeculite and perlite.

Special Mix is made from Swedish so-called virgin white turf of the highest quality. One gram of Special Mix can absorb an impressive ten grams of water. The turf is mixed with only the highest quality Perlite, Swedish clay, lime, minerals and organic nutrients.

How you get the most of your special blend:

- The optimal soaking of Special mix is 65% - It is easy to check that you have the proper humidity in your soil, take a hand of soil and squeeze it. A few drops should drip from the soil when you squeeze it.

A glass of water is sufficient to hydrogenate a 10 liter pot due to Special Mix's unique structure.

Special Mix contains enough nutrients for almost a complete crop cycle when you do not drain the water. If you drain by 30%, it contains sufficient nutrients for the first three to six weeks. 

However, do not wait until you have completely drained the nutrients and this starts to show on the plants. We recommend starting with a light fertilizer after about 3-4 weeks to maintain the nutritional balance in your soil, but only if you use mineral nutrients, and if you drain!

The open structure of the Special Mix allows you to use the ebb and flow irrigation system, soaking your substrate without the worry of it all turning to goo. 
Any excess water will be drained. We recommend to use the enzymes if using this method.

If you add minerals, the ideal pH range should be 5.2 to 6.2.
